Red Dead Redemption 2: How to Drag Someone by Horse

The sandbox world of Red Dead Redemption 2 allows you to do some interesting things as the rules are pretty loose.  One of the coolest or cruelest things you can do is drag someone with your horse by lassoing them.  Here’s how to drag someone by horse in RDR2.

First things first, you’re going to need to be on your horse.  Next, you will want to equip the Lasso from the weapon wheel.  Then you can start swinging the lasso by pressing the LT/L2 button and the throw it with the RT/R2 button.  After you’ve roped your target you can then just start pulling them behind you with the horse.

If they aren’t dead, they will be shortly. Initially, this crime is just an assault.  As you drag this person by horse they will be screaming behind you as you pull them along.  Eventually they will die.  You can choose to release them from your lasso by pressing the B/Circle Button.  Just like any crime in Red Dead Redemption 2 when people see you dragging someone behind your horse they’re going to report you to the lawmen and they’ll start searching for you.
