Fallout 76 How to Turn on Flashlight

With a realistic day night cycle in Fallout 76 there are going to be plenty of times where you’ll want to use a flashlight.  One of the hidden controls in Fallout 76 is to turn on said flashlight that will allow you to see a little bit better during night times or when you need more visibility indoors.

By holding the B/Circle Button you can turn on your flashlight whether you are in power armor or not.  It’s important to note that you must hold the button for a couple of seconds to access the flashlight.  If you tap the B/Circle Button it will open your Pip Boy Menu instead.

To turn off the flashlight just hold the B/Circle button again and the flashlight will be removed.  The flashlight definitely comes in handy during the night time as it will help you see enemies and items you can collect (like wood).

You’ll know that the flashlight has been turned on as a green glow will surround your character when out of power armor.  If your character is in Power Armor, it will need to have the helmet attached to it to use the flashlight capability.
