Eventually, as you travel through Super Smash Bros. Ultimate‘s World of Light, you’ll come to a point where you’ll need a Train Engineer so that you can use a train to progress through your adventure. Finding a Spirit that can drive the train for you can be a bit tricky, however, so here’s what you’ll have to do to find one.

First of all, you’ll need a Transport Pokémon to get you across the sea to an island in the bottom right of the World of Light map. If you need help finding a Transport Pokémon, click here to read our guide on how to accomplish that first. Once you’ve managed to make your way across the sea and reach the island, continue traveling east (right) across the island, taking on all the Spirits you come across on the way. Eventually, you’ll come across a Spirit of Alfonzo & Engineer Link from The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. As you could probably guess, this Spirit is capable of driving trains. Defeat it in battle like any other Spirit to have it join your team.

Now you’ll be able to drive trains as you come across them in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate‘s World of Light. Keep in mind that you don’t actually have to have Alfonzo & Engineer Link in your Party to have them drive trains for you; simply having them join you at all will be enough.
