Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice How to Get More Revives

In Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice there is a revive mechanic that can be used any time you fall in battle.  Assuming that you have a revive available you can choose to revive at the spot that you died without losing any of your experience or gold.  There is a way to get more revives in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and this guide will explain how you do that.

After defeating Lady Butterfly  you will receive the Sakura Droplet.  The Sakura Droplet will give you an additional revive/resurrection, but you actually have to do something with this item before you can actually get an additional revive.

You need to speak with Lord Kuro after you’ve defeated Genichiro Ashina.  Once you’ve helped Kuro and started down the path of finding the flower and the stone you’ll also see that there is a dialogue option for Kuro that allows you to show him the Sakura Droplet.  Depending on when you beat Lady Butterfly, you could have the Sakura Droplet in your inventory for quite some time.  If you’re itching to get that extra revive you’re going to need to progress through the Ashina Castle, defeating the Ashina Elite Jinsuke Saze in the Dojo and then Genichiro.

Show Kuro the droplet and there will be a brief ceremony and after it’s complete you will have two revives/resurrections as the default with the ability to get a third.
