For the fifth year in a row, PC Gamer will be bringing back their PC Gaming Show for the E3 2019 Press Conference weekend. The event takes place on Monday, June 10 at 10:00 am at The Mayan Theater in Los Angeles. The most intriguing part however is that this years showing will be spearheaded by Epic Games and will apparently unveils some brand new exclusives for their controversial Epic Games Store.
Epic Games has been making multiple waves since the end of last year, seemingly snatching up whatever developer/publisher they can to ensure that their IP remains exclusive on their storefront. Epic has been called out multiple times for essentially poaching franchises away from Steam, EA Origins, and GOG, especially when it came to Gearbox Software and Borderlands 3. The icing on the cake was when they fully acquired Psyonix and their popular series Rocket League.
Regardless of who’s sponsoring the event, we can still expect the same fast paced presentation that we’ve come to know and love. Speaking of which, PC Gamer has already announced that their are over 17 developers who will be showing off some new IP’s as well as updates to their current ones. The company shared who we can expect to see that day which includes Digital Extremes, Fatshark, Modus Games, Raw Fury, and Chucklefish.
With the competition heating up between Valve and Epic, this years conference should be an interesting one. The PC Gaming show will be on Monday, June 10 at 10:00 am PST. As it was last year, the event will be hosted by Sean “Day9” Plott and esports presenter Frankie Ward, and will be streamed online via their Twitch Channel. We’ll be covering the event as well as all E3 2019 conferences so be sure to check back for more updates and stories.
