As he promised, series creator Ed Boone has finally revealed the details of the Kombat Pack for Mortal Kombat 11. Along with Shang Tsung, NetherRealm Studios has officially confirmed three additional fighters for the game. Nightwolf, Sindel, and comic book hero Spawn will all arrive at some point in the foreseeable future as part of the DLC pack.

In addition, we also got to the first DLC fighter in action, Shang Tsung. The shape-shifting sorcerer is well known for his abilities, but just how much does he stack up in the newest entry for the series. Well judging by the trailer, very well! Tsung looks like he hasn’t missed a beat, showing off his unique fighting style as well as his talent-copying prowess that he is famous, or infamous for. He even goes so far as to transform into another rumored DLC fighter, the purple ninja Rain.

While Rain wasn’t confirmed in this initial batch of fighters, Boone still sees more than enough reason to troll his fans with this display. Speaking of releasing, we can expect Shang Tsung to arrive in Mortal Kombat 11 very soon. In fact if you own the Kombat Pass, you’ll be given early access to him starting on Tuesday June 18. Their wasn’t any information on when we can expect to see Nightwolf, Sindel, or Spawn but it’s more than likely that we’ll get these fighters sometime later this year.

The studio didn’t stop there though, as they teased two more fighters at the end of the trailer, but kept their identity a mystery. Leave it to Boone and company to keep us guessing on which guest character they’ll bring in to duke it out to the death. Either way, the cat is sort of out of the bag, and now we have a lot to look forward to. Mortal Kombat 11 is now available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
