In Borderlands 3 you can change your weapon skins.  The option to change weapon skins is hidden behind the “Inspect” option for all weapons.  This guide will explain how to quickly change your weapon skins in Borderlands 3.

How to change skins Borderlands 3

You’ll want to open up your inventory menu option in the game.  This can be done by selecting the backpack option at the top left of the screen when pressing the Character Menus button.  Once you open this menu you can highlight any gun in your inventory or that you have equipped and inspect it.

Highlight the weapon and then click in the right thumbstick to inspect the weapon.  Once in the weapon inspection screen you can follow the prompt to apply a new skin to the gun.  Press the X/Square button to change weapon skin on Xbox/PlayStation and then select the skin from the ones available.

Once you’ve highlighted the skin you want to use, you can press the A/Cross button to apply the skin.  After you’ve applied the skin you will immediately be able to see the new skin on screen in the first person view.
