A new firmware update inbound for the PlayStation 3 is set to better the internet browser for the console.  Upon downloading the update, you should see some fairly significant enhancements to the PlayStation 3 browser alongside the rebranding of the PSN to the SEN.

“Some websites that could not be displayed, including interactive websites, are now supported, and page layouts are now displayed with better accuracy,” says the software notes.

Though installing the new update has shown to fudge up Netflix after application.  A known workaround is re-install the app on the console.  According to early testers, the PlayStation browser is now scoring significantly higher on numerous benchmarking tests.
