Far Cry 6 Paint the Town Guide: All 12 Statue Locations and Map

Recommended Videos

Far Cry 6 contains many side missions called Yaran Stories, and one of these missions called Paint the Town involves defacing statues in Yara’s capital city of Esperanza. This mission is acquired from a character named Zenia Zayas in the Mercurio Mecanico hideout in the West Lado district of Esperanza. Her father’s dying wish was to deface statues of Gabriel Castillo, father to Anton Castillo. Finding these statues is no easy task, however, especially with the overbearing military presence in the city. Here’s where you can find and deface all of the Gabriel statues in the Paint the Town mission in Far Cry 6.

Far Cry 6 Paint the Town Statue Locations

There are 12 Gabriel statues to deface in the Paint the Town mission. They are tall, rectangular monoliths with a bust of Gabriel on top. They’re spread all throughout the city of Esperanza, and you can see their locations marked on the map below.

To deface a statute, all you have to do is approach it and press the interact button. This is the E key on PC or the Square/X button on PlayStation/Xbox. Try not to get seen by enemies while defacing the statues. Surprisingly, soldiers loyal to an oppressive regime don’t like it when you vandalize statues of that regime’s leaders. Funny how that works out.

The hardest part of this mission is not finding all the states, but navigating Esperanza safely. The city is under heavy military control because it’s the capital city of Yara, so there are soldiers patrolling most of the streets keeping an eye out for guerrilla fighters like yourself. Thankfully, you can use the many secret guerilla paths to traverse the streets while staying out of sight. These are marked with blue lines on your map. Try to use them instead of the main roads, especially if you need to get past a military checkpoint.

After defacing all of the statues, return to Zenia Zayas to complete this Yaran Story. She will become available as a Los Bandidos leader, and you’ll receive a yellow paint bucket weapon charm as well as a decent chunk of XP.

Far Cry 6 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Google Stadia, and Amazon Luna. Check out our review of the game here.
