In Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles, players can take on many of the series most beloved characters, and Murata, to battle, in true CyberConnect2 fashion. With that said, the game features a roster currently composed of 18 different characters, and we will tell you how to unlock each one of them.
How to Unlock All Characters in Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles
As we said above, the game currently features 18 playable characters. You can check out what you need to do to unlock each one of them below:
- Tanjiro Kamado – Complete the Prologue
- Sabito – Complete the Prologue
- Makomo – Complete the Prologue
- Sakonji Urokodaki – Complete the Prologue
- Nezuko Kamado – Complete Chapter 2
- Zenitsu Agatsuma – Complete Chapter 4
- Inosuke Hashibira – Complete Chapter 4
- Murata – Complete Chapter 5
- Giyu Tomioka – Complete Chapter 6
- Shinobu Kocho – Complete Chapter 7
- Kyojuro Rengoku – Complete Chapter 8
- Tanjiro Kamado (Hinokami Kagura) – Complete Chapter 8
- Tanjiro Kamado (Kimetsu Academy) – Watch 40 memory fragments.
- Nezuko Kamado (Kimetsu Academy) – Watch 53 (All) memory fragments.
- Zenitsu Agatsuma (Kimetsu Academy) – Complete 15 Reward Missions.
- Inosuke Hashibira (Kimetsu Academy) – Complete 19 reward missions.
- Giyu Tomioka (Kimetsu Academy) – Complete 7 Special missions on Normal.
- Shinobu Kocho (Kimetsu Academy) – Complete 7 special missions on Hard.
You can also unlock many of the characters above by spending 4,000 Kimetsu Points each, but doing so is not advised since most of them can be unlocked by completing the main story as well as by performing tasks directly related to it. It’s also good to remember that Aniplex and CyberConnect2 revealed that Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles will be receiving 6 new playable characters as part of a series of post-launch DLCs. The first 2 characters to arrive at the game will be the demons Rui and Akaza.
