That’s right, we are talking about the Parry stance.
How to Parry Successfully on Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles
Using the stance on Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles is not hard, but being able to parry efficiently is a whole different story since if used at the wrong time players may find themselves open for slaughter. With that said, doing the Parry will not only allow you to counter with an attack of your own but will also give you the highest combo time limit available while also recovering some of your Special Gauge. You can parry by tilting the L stick downwards and pressing R1/RB simultaneously.
For an almost guaranteed parry, you should assume the stance as your opponent’s attack is about to hit you, the stance is also effective in cases when your opponent chase dashes in your direction. Remember, the parry stance makes you vulnerable if misused so be careful and don’t risk unless you are absolutely confident in your skill at the moment. Before trying online we recommend that you practice the stance in the game’s training mode.
