Genshin Impact‘s version 2.2 introduced players to a new region in the land of Inazuma, called Tsurumi Island. On it, they can take part in a new 4-part timed quest, find new Electroculus, and take part in many new side-quests. With that said, we will now show you where to find the Boatman ghost and how to start his questline on Genshin Impact’s version 2.2.
Where to Find the Boatman Ghost in Genshin Impact
As you can see in the image below, the Boatman Ghost can be found on Tsurumi Island, more specifically west of the waypoint located on Shirikoro Peak, close to a Time Trail Challenge. It is important to phase that the ghost will only appear after you finish the game’s new 4-part timed quest ”Through the Mists” and completely unlock the new region for exploration. We advise players to start the questline as soon as possible since they can only take part in one part of it a day, which means that will take you at least 4 days to fully unlock the new region.
After finding Boatman, the ghost will give Travelers a series of mysterious hints, which will if followed, lead players to the location of 9 other ghosts, Una, Chise, Shitoki, Nonno, Kito, Kina, Ipe, Reno, and Abe. You will be able to finish Boatman’s quest by finding all the ghosts and helping them embark. Each Ghost you find will request the Traveler’s help in some specific way, triggering their own sub-quest.
After completing each ghost specific request and returning to Boatman, players will be rewarded with 30 Primogems, 20,000 Mora, 2 Hero’s Wit, and 200 Adventure EXP. Finishing the quest will also reward players with the hidden achievement ”Lovely Sights, Further Than the Eye Can See”, which is worth 5 Primogems.
