Update 1.06 has arrived for NBA 2K22, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch. A patch for NBA 2K22 was released just the other day, bringing a myriad of fixes and adjustments to the yearly basketball game. That update prepared the game for the launch of Season 2, but it looks like another patch has gone live ahead of the new Season that adds even more fixes. This update weighs in at roughly 4.4 GB on Xbox One but it’s much smaller on PS4, coming in at around 158 MB.

There are currently no official patch notes for NBA 2K22 update 1.06. We will update this article once patch notes are released. However, some players believe that this patch fixes the badges glitch that was introduced in the most recent patch. We’ll have to wait and see what other issues are addressed, though. 2K typically releases patch notes shortly after updates go live, so check back soon to see what’s new.

We liked NBA 2K22, awarding it a score of 4/5 stars in our review. We lamented the money-hungry online mode, but praised the core basketball gameplay saying “2K is about as bad as it gets when it comes to quality of life for players in its online modes that are clearly designed to siphon extra money beyond the price of admission. However, they do make one hell of a basketball game that will allow you to tolerate these scheme-based game modes if you can actually get on to play them.”

NBA 2K22 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
