This morning Microsoft announced the official release date for Halo 4. The return of Master Chief will commence on November 6th, 2012, where fans of the franchise will finally get a chance to continue the original story line of the Halo universe.
As you’ll recall, Master Chief was set adrift in space, hurtling towards a Forerunner planet at the end of Halo 3. Come November, we’ll get to see what’s in store for us.
It’ll be one of the more controversial launches for the Halo franchise. Halo 4 will be the first Halo title without Bungie, and 343 Industries first crack at a Halo title. News that arrived recently, shows that 343 isn’t resting on the laurels of Bungie’s well laid plans for the franchise. They’ve already begun talking about the changes that are coming to the title, specifically in the multiplayer feature set.
