Does Goat Simulator 3 Support Cross-play?

No, Goat Simulator 3 will not support cross-play when it launches. The development team has said it may add that feature in the future but says it is making no promises on making good with that statement. Another critical thing to remember is that Goat Simulator 3 is a next-gen-only game which means you can’t even play with friends on different PlayStation or Xbox consoles. However, with all the fun collaborations and popularity of the first game, plus the mobile version of Goat Simulator, we suspect cross-play will be added after the game’s launch.

How does Multiplayer Work?

Friends-Menu-1

Goat Simulator 3 supports multiplayer for up to four players. You can play with fellow goats online or local co-op. There are several ways you can play with friends online. The first is at the main menu screen. You will see plus symbols next to your goat. Click on one of these will launch the friends’ menu. There is also a friends menu in-game that will let you add your online friends to your game. To have someone join in through local co-op, you can hit the menu screen and have them press the appropriate keyboard or controller key displayed on your screen.

What can I do in Multiplayer?

You can do everything in solo play plus other games like soccer, golf, and derby, located throughout San Angora. A floating icon represents each game. For instance, the golf mini-game will have a golf bag and tee icon. All you need to do is have one of your party members collect the floating icon to initiate the mini-game. Of course, you will cause mayhem throughout San Angora, but have lots of fun!

Goat Simulator 3 is available on PC through Epic Games, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
