I've been avoiding 3D gaming like the plague. Only second to the gimmick filled antics of the motion controllers that were released last year, I was content to hunker down and let 3D phase itself out.

The first Battlefield 3 Reviews have gone live, and the shooter is gathering praise from the largest sites on the web. The game which launches at midnight on the 25th, is just hours away from hitting the hands of the masses that have been awaiting the final version of the game patiently for many months.
Blizzard's big reveal at BlizzCon 2011 was easily WoW: Mists of Pandaria, but fans on the show floor were mixed in their feelings about the upcoming expansion pack. One catch phrase that multiple fans that I talked to mentioned, was "Jumping The Shark", a term used for an entertainment product that describes a point in time when the franchise has peaked and is now on the decline.
