Pokemon GO Fest 2022 – June 4th Events
Rotating Habitats
You’ll be able to find a handful of new Pokemon in the different habits, with enhanced spawn rates for each day that the event is going on. You’ll be able to find new Pokemon in the City, Plains, Rainforest, and Tundra regions, with a chance to get your hands on quite a few shiny Pokemon as well. You’ll be able to see a complete list of each shiny Pokemon in each habitat here.
Shiny Pokemon Debuts
Explore your local city or different parts of the world to try to get your hands on the newest shiny Pokemon that have made their debut in the game for GO Fest 2022! You’ll be able to find all of these Pokemon available for the first time ever as a shiny in the game:
- Shroomish
- Numel
- Karrablast
- Axew
- Shelmet
Costumed Pikachu
You’ll be able to get your hands on a new Costumed Pikachu, exclusive to GO Fest 2022! Wearing a Shaymin Inspired Garcidea Flower costume, you’ll need to be on the lookout for this special Pokemon. There’s also a chance to get your hands on a shiny one if you’re lucky!
Ticket Exclusive Events

Customized Special Research Tasks
You’ll be able to personalize your Special Research Tasks for a chance to earn an encounter with Land Forme Shaymin. You’ll be able to test your skills or take it easy with either a Relaxed, Standard, or Master Difficulty option.
Increased Shiny Rate
If you’re a fan of shiny hunting for Pokemon, you’ll want to consider getting your hands on a GO Fest ticket as soon as possible, so you’ll be able to encounter many more shiny Pokemon than normal. While the normal encounter rate is 1 in 500 chances, you’ll see them drop as low, if not lower than 1 in 96.
Global Challenge Arena
You and others around the world will be able to work towards exclusive Global Challenges, which if you happen to complete them, you’ll earn special bonuses for the remainder of that hour. Teamwork will be key during these events, to make sure that everyone can benefit as much as possible from them! If you and your teammates can complete 20 Global Challenges, you’ll all unlock Ultra Bonuses for Adventure Week, as well!
Free Raid Passes
You’ll be able to claim up to 9 free Raid Passes, so you and your teammates can partake in any of the in-person raids that will be going on during this event!
