Sora in Super Smash Bros.

All 10 Kingdom Hearts Songs Coming to Smash Ultimate

Recommended Videos

In the final presentation from Masahiro Sakurai, fans were treated to the long-awaited last Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC fighter. And, after pleading for years, Sora from Kingdom Hearts finally got revealed to fans. This comes along with all three mainline Kingdom Hearts games coming to Switch later this year, though only as cloud versions. The 11th and final Challenger Pack brings not only the highly anticipated fighter Sora, but some new music and a new stage.

Every Kingdom Hearts Song in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

To go along with the new Hollow Bastion stage in Smash Bros., there are nine iconic tracks from the Kingdom Hearts series. The songs come from many different titles, so long-time and new fans won’t be disappointed. There are, however, no Disney-related songs on the soundtrack – we assume this is for legal reasons and Sakurai’s dismissal of characters that didn’t first emerge in video games.

Below are all nine Kingdom Hearts songs coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate that are featured in the series:

  • Night Of Fate
  • Destiny’s Force
  • Shrouding Dark Cloud
  • Hand In Hand
  • Blast Away! – Gummi Ship II –
  • Hollow Bastion
  • Scherzo Di Notte
  • Fragments Of Sorrow
  • Destati

There is, however, one more song that can be obtained for Smash Bros… if players have save data from Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory on their Switch, they can unlock ‘Dearly Beloved – Swing Version’ – a swing version of a long-standing tune in most Kingdom Hearts games.

While there is a good mix of Kingdom Hearts songs coming to the game, some fans are disappointed that there were only nine songs and because there are no new titles. However, there are just as many as previous fighters brought with them: Persona 5′s Joker had 11 iconic songs from the game, and Minecraft’s Steve only brought 7. As a lot of the songs are Disney-related, this threw a spanner in the works for developers, for sure. Because of how many games the Kingdom Hearts series has, fans assumed there would be more songs coming along with Sora.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is available now on Nintendo Switch.
