Back 4 Blood offers an Annual Pass, but it is pricey which might leave you asking whether it is truly worth it. Developed by Turtle Rock Studios and released on the 12th of October 2021, Back 4 Blood is a first-person shooter that has you and your team loading up your guns and taking on a zombie infestation. The game serves as the spiritual successor to Left 4 Dead, but it brings enough newness to the table to make itself stand out. Although it is possible to complete the campaign solo, this is a title best played with a group of friends.
Is the Back 4 Blood Annual Pass Worth It
The Back 4 Blood Annual Pass is included in the Ultimate Edition and the Digital Edition of the game. However, if you bought the Standard Edition, you will have to purchase the Annual Pass separately. The Annual Pass functions as most Season Passes do, giving you access to additional content that the developers intend to release for the game down the line.
The Annual Pass gives you access to new playable characters. Currently Back 4 Blood offers eight Cleaners you can play as, with four of them available immediately and the rest unlocked after completing a certain number of missions. You will get to play with your new characters in new story content that come as part of the Annual Pass. Your enemies will also be getting a touch-up with the Annual Pass through the inclusion of special mutated Ridden types. While not many details have been given about these new enemies, they are sure to be formidable foes.
If you plan on spending a lot of time with Back 4 Blood, the Annual Pass may be a good investment to ensure you are regularly receiving new content in the future. The addition of new story content, Ridden types, and playable characters will certainly add to the game’s replayability. However, if you are planning to work through the campaign once and be done with it, perhaps the price tag of the Annual Pass is not justified.
Back 4 Blood is available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
