Best Ways to Get Point Blank Kills Easy in Call of Duty: Vanguard

Recommended Videos

For those who play Call of Duty games for the gun skins, you may be in for a rough time. The very sought out Atomic Camo weapon skin is going to take a lot of skill and time to get there. You’ll need to basically beat all weapon challenges for every weapon in the multiplayer part of Vanguard. However, there are some rather headaches for challenges that have players feeling like they’re at an impasse. Point blank kills sounds easy enough for some weapons, but that isn’t necessarily the case. Here are the best ways to get point blank kills in Call of Duty: Vanguard.

Best ways to get point blank kills in Call of Duty: Vanguard

A point blank kill in a shooting game means that you kill someone at an extremely close range. Oftentimes, the term point blank is synonymous with being within melee distance. It’s the range where shotguns would typically kill a player with one shot.

In terms of a point blank kill in Call of Duty: Vanguard, that all stays true. Unfortunately, if you want to get that sweet weapon skin, you’ll have to get these kills on every weapon. That includes using guns like LMGs, marksman rifles, and snipers. This challenge is a cakewalk with SMGs and shotguns, since they are close quarters weapons, to begin with.

As for the other weapons, here are some tips and the best ways to get point blank kills in Vanguard.

First, you’re going to want to set your Quickplay filter settings to “Blitz”. This setting ensures that you’ll be put into lobbies where there are high player counts. A high player count means that players are more likely to spawn in places that aren’t necessarily balanced or conventional but do provide for some easier point blank kills.

Next, you’ll ideally want to play in a match of something like Domination, where kills don’t matter all too well. If you do try to fish for these point blank kills, your K/D may drop, because it’s not an easy task to do it for every weapon.

While taking on these challenges, you should customize your weapons to have better hip-fire accuracy and sprint-to-fire speed. This will ensure you can shoot your weapons with better accuracy without the need to ADS as well as fire your gun faster after sprinting. Guns on the more precise side will need the sprint to fire speed more than shotguns or SMGs.

Finally, you should also equip perks like Ninja, Tracker, and Lightweight just to give you a bit more movement speed around the maps you play on. Right now as the game is experiencing audio issues, making footsteps almost impossible to distinguish, you can actually do without Ninja. As for the others, you want to close the gap between you and your target to make point blank kills easy.

You’ll know you got the point blank kill because as you take someone down and get the score, the game will display “Point Blank Kill” in the middle of the screen.
