Activision is finally allowing PC and Xbox users to play the Zombies Onslaught or simply Onslaught co-operative game mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The game mode was formerly exclusive to PlayStation players but is now available on Xbox and PC, courtesy of a new November update. The latest update adds numerous things like the Hammer and Sickle melee weapon, new shop contents, etc. But the highlight among all remains the Zombies Onslaught arrival to all the platforms. How to play Black Ops Cold War’s Zombies Onslaught on Xbox and PC
Treyarch recently took to its official Twitter to announce the arrival of Onslaught to all the platforms. As per the tweet, after the new update drops, Call of Duty players will be able to play the Zombies Onslaught on all the platforms while also experiencing all the other features of the current update.

This will be encouraging for players who have been desperately looking to play the mode since last year. To play the Zombies Onslaught on Xbox and PC, players simply need to select the said mode in the multiplayer game mode options. The Zombies Onslaught multiplayer mode is an exciting and fun co-op mode where players have to survive against Zombies and unique enemies on Multiplayer maps. The mode will start will the player spawning on a map alongside a Dark Aether Orb and the entire area will be encircled by a glowing, purple dome.
Leaving this purple dome will lead to players taking damage. In Zombies Onslaught mode, the main objective is to fill the Dark Aether Orb meter to 100%. Once the Orb Power reaches 100%, the Orb will erupt and kill all the leftover enemies in the area while moving to a different location. This completes what is perceived as a “Surge.” There are various such Surges in Onslaught mode that players need to complete to move forward.
