Update 1.25 has arrived for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch. On PlayStation 5, this update is version 1.024.000. This update weighs in at roughly 4-6 GB depending on your platform of choice. Because Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 6 just began earlier this month, this patch doesn’t contain any major new additions like maps, operators, or weapons. Instead, this update likely just contains a few minor bug fixes and addresses issues with The Haunting event that is currently live in both Cold War and Warzone. There are currently no patch notes for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War update 1.25. Treyarch typically posts patch notes shortly after updates go live, so check back soon for the official list of changes. Sometimes patches are released without a changelog though, especially if they’re mainly for stability improvements or bug fixes, so a list of fixes might not come.

Like many Call of Duty updates, this patch is not without its problems for some players. Some players, particularly those playing on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, are being forced to download the entire game all over again. On PlayStation, the update takes can take a long time in the copying stage even if your download speed is lightning fast. Thankfully, these issues are quite rare, so most players should be able to install the patch without issue.
Although it’s not the focus of this patch, Double XP is live in both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone this weekend. Players can jump into either game and earn Double XP, Double Weapon XP, and Double Battle Pass XP throughout the weekend. This is the first of two Triple-Double XP Weekends coming up this month, so make sure you log in and grind as much as you can before the release of Call of Duty: Vanguard.
