Charms are one of the new customization options that you’ll find in Modern Warfare, but you won’t be starting out with any of them. There are a couple of different ways to get Charms in Modern Warfare and this guide will explain each way to do that.
The first way to get Charms is to earn them. Charms are one of the loot items that you can get by completing Multiplayer Challenges. These challenges can be found in the Barracks in the Multiplayer Menu.
Earn Charms by Completing Mission Challenges
Once in the Barracks menu view your Multiplayer Challenges and then tab over to the Missions. There are numerous missions you can tackle with different objectives in each. After completing objectives you will earn loot rewards. Complete all objectives and you will complete the mission for a bigger reward. But, some of the objective rewards are charms. At the time of this writing you can get a couple of different charms from Missions.
- Infiltrator Mission – Objective 3 – Blade of Valor Charm
- Well Equipped Mission – Objective 3 – Firewater Charm
- Perks of the Job Mission – Objective 1 – Re-up Charm
- Best of the Best Mission – Objective 1 – Supreme Slice Charm
- Best of the Best Mission – Objective 5 – Helpful Doge Charm
- Expert Gunsmith – Objective 2 – 50 Cal Charm
Daily Challenges will also be a source of Charms, but it’s going to depend on the day and the challenge. Check back for these challenges regularly to see if they offer a charm for completion.
Missions aren’t the only places to get rewards. You can also purchase items in the store that can get you charms as well. The Call of Duty Endowment Pack ($9.99) will give you an exclusive charm that can be used on all weapons.
Once you’ve got charms you can then equip them from the Gunsmith. Once in the Gunsmith simply head to the Customize option and select the charm that you want to equip on the gun.
