Call of Duty WW2 Guide: How to Find Gridiron Ball in Headquarters
Sledgehammer Games has tucked away a number of different Easter Eggs and surprises in the new Headquarters mode and you may have seen players running around with a Gridiron Ball. The developers have tucked a few of these away in the nooks and crannies of Headquarters and we know a couple ways that you can find the Gridiron Ball. Both of the methods that we know involve the jumping puzzles in Headquarters.
How to find the hidden Gridiron Ball in Headquarters #1
Let’s start with the easy one first. When you spawn into Headquarters head right towards the firing range but stop before you get there. There’s a big cannon to your immediate right and the first Gridiron Ball is located right under it. You’ll need to do a simple jumping puzzle to go from the ground to the cannon.
First jump onto the ledge that is extends just slightly above the ground level and face the broken column. Next jump onto the broken column and then turn around and face the cannon. Next you’ll need to hop from the broken column to the cannon. Under the cannon is the first Gridiron Ball.
How to get the second Gridiron Ball in Headquarters
The second Gridiron Ball that we found in Headquarters was located while doing a more complex jumping puzzle. This puzzle begins in the theater and then goes all the way to the top of the Headquarters main building. Though before you get to the very top of this jumping puzzle you can stop off and collect the second Gridiron Ball.
If you need instructions on how to get on to the top of the main building in Headquarters, you can check out this guide and video for step by step instructions on how to get on to the building by using precision jumping.
Once you’re on the building you need to go around the left side of it and follow it around to the front where you’ll see the broken structure in the picture above. You can either head to the very top of the building by climbing this rubble or head to the right and into this lookout area.
Since this guide is for the Gridiron Ball, that’s where you’ll want to go. Into the dark lookout room and you’ll pick-up the second Gridiron Ball Easter Egg in Headquarters.

How to get the third Gridiron Ball in Headquarters
The third hidden Gridiron Ball in Headquarters is located in the Scorestreak Tower. While you can enter the tower to practice using Scorestreaks, getting the Gridiron Ball will be a little more difficult.
You’ll need to climb the outside of the Scorestreak Tower. Heading from where you spawn in Headquarters head down to the Scorestreak Tower on the beach. Approaching from the front, you’ll want to start out on the right side of the Tower.
From there you’ll need to jump up onto the tower’s main horizontal beam. Once on the bottom beam you’ll need to make a second jump to the small piece of wood that is slanting upwards. Slowly make your way to the top of that slanted beam and then you’ll need to make a third jump to a black hook that will be directly in front of you. From here, you’ll need to edge your character slightly outside to give yourself enough room to make another jump.
From this first black hook, you’ll need to make a fourth jump to another small piece of wood that is slanted upwards towards the tower’s main area. Once on that small piece, there are only two small jumps left. The first is from that small piece of wood to the second black hook, and then from the hook onto the main platform of the tower. Once at the top you’ll automatically mantle the wall where you’ll find Gridiron Ball #3.
