Can You Capture Titan Pokemon After Defeating Them In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

As players venture out for the Treasure Hunt in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, they’ll need to bring their best to the battle against gigantic Titan Pokemon. Scattered across the Paldea Region, trainers will need to push as hard as possible to take down these massive mammoths. Gamers may be wondering if they’ll be able to add them to their party, much like Alpha Pokemon from Pokemon Legends Arceus.

As players continue to power up their party, having a giant monster may help swing the odds in your favor. Before you face off against the Gym Leaders and Starfall Street Bosses, making sure that you’ve knocked out a few Titans could be worth it if you’re able to add them to your party. But, can you do that?

Can You Catch Titan Pokemon In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

It’s a bit of a conflicting answer, as you won’t be able to capture the exact Titan that you have fought. After the battle has concluded, the Titan Pokemon will disappear and a cutscene will play out, leaving players with more story to swallow. However, you may be lucky enough to find a slightly larger version of these standard Pokemon roaming the plains in the area you defeated them.

So, while it may not be the full-sized Titan Pokemon that you just worked towards defeating, finding a larger version of the original creature may be worth your time and act as a decent enough consolation prize for your hard work. Finding these larger Pokemon may have their benefits, as there is a chance that they may have increased stats overall. With Pokemon finally being scaled to their actual size, this makes the hunt for these perfect creatures more exciting than ever before. If you’re looking for something to do next after completing a Badge, consider taking on a battle against a Titan for a test of your battle prowess. Or take the time to start hunting for special items to evolve your Charcadet!
