Recommended Videos

If you’re looking for the ultimate Call of Duty Mobile experience, hooking up a controller and showing off your skills is the greatest way to do so. You’ll also unlock the ability to play against other players that are using controllers, making the playing field more even across the board.

However, some players may find it difficult to connect these controllers to their mobile devices, so that’s where we come into play. Find out how to get your favorite controller hooked up to your system, and how to bring the fight on the go with either a Playstation 4 or Xbox controller!

The directions to make this happen are a little different between iPhone and Android, so we will run you through how to make this happen on both of these platforms, so you’ll be able to start hitting 360 no scopes in no time.

Android

  • Pull down your Notification Slide from the top of your screen
  • Long Press on the Bluetooth Icon
  • Select Pair New Device
  • If you are using a Playstation Controller, you’ll need to press and hold the PS button, and the Share button until your controller starts to flash
  • If you are using an Xbox Controller, you’ll need to press the Sync/Connect button on the top of your controller until the Xbox Button begins to flash
  • Once they have begun flashing, you’ll be able to see the controller in your Bluetooth settings, select your controller and wait for for the flashing to stop and turn solid
  • Once they are connected, you’ll be able to jump into COD Mobile with your controller of choice!

iPhone

  • Open your Settings App, and select Bluetooth
  • If you are using a Playstation Controller, you’ll need to press and hold the PS button, and the Share button until your controller starts to flash
  • If you are using an Xbox Controller, you’ll need to press the Sync/Connect button on the top of your controller until the Xbox Button begins to flash
  • Once your controller has begun flashing, select it on your iPhone under Other Devices and wait for for the flashing to stop and turn solid
  • Once they are connected, you’ll be able to jump into COD Mobile with your controller of choice!

At this time, a Playstation 4 or Xbox One controller works best, while the Xbox Series X/S controller does work better than the Playstation 5 controller. They are not fully compatible yet, however, Activision is working on a way to make sure that next-generation controllers work better with the game.

Call of Duty Mobile is available now on mobile devices.
