How To Remove TNT Crate In Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled
The TNT Crate is one of the most iconic items in the Crash Bandicoot franchise, so it’s no surprise that it plays a part in the racing game too. TNT Crates are an item you can get from the item boxes scattered throughout each level and dropped on the map. The goal is to have people think it is an item box from afar and not realize it’s the wrong type of box until it’s too late.
Once you run into a TNT Crate in a race, it will start ticking and blow up on you very soon. However, there is a way you can prevent this from happening by getting it off of your head just in time. As soon as you get the TNT Crate on you, you have to start hopping to get it off of you by pressing R1 on PS4, or the respective button on other platforms.
You can’t just press R1 once either, as you have to keep pressing it until the crate comes off. You will be hitting it a good number of times too, so just keep pressing it and hopefully you are able to do so enough times before it explodes. Once you hit it enough, the TNT Crate will just fall off of you and you can continue the race as you were before.
