Destiny-2-Season-of-the-Haunted-Scythe

Season of the Haunted has brought some old ghosts out of the closet of Destiny 2. While this may sound like a Halloween event and season it is far from it. In fact, it almost feels like Christmas with all the weapons we have gotten back. Calus Mini-Tool is back and players are craving the God Roll for it. While this is not the only returning weapon, it is one you should definitely add to your arsenal while you have the chance. Let’s go over what perks you should be looking out for while you farm for the God Roll Mini-Tool in Destiny 2.

The God-Roll for Calus Mini-Tool in Destiny 2

While the Augstringer is better for PVP, the Mini-Tool is a monster in PVE. This is because of the new perk that synergizes well with the Solar 3.0 rework. Any PVE Godroll of Mini-tool will have the new Incandescent perk, if you can’t get this you could run Surrounded as well. This makes it more viable if you are not running solar too.

For the other perk slot, you will want to pick yourself up Moving Target or Threat Detector. Combine those with either Accurized Rounds or Tactical Mag and Corkscrew Rifling or Arrowhead Brake. That’ll make you a God Roll of the Mini-Tool for PVE

For PVP you will be a bit limited on your God Roll, You will be looking for perks like Tap the Trigger or Eye of the Storm and combine those with Slideways, Moving Target, or Air Assault. You will still want the magazine and barrel mods that were on the PVE God Roll for the PVP God Roll as well.

Something that does make this weapon interesting is its Origin Trait. To Excess rewards you for killing while having a full super. Each kill with full super will give you bonus strength and discipline for a moderate duration. This is a big deal since it can be quite easy to just hold onto your super and keep spamming your melee and grenades. But at the same time, firing off your super as soon as you get it can also be tempting. Especially in PVP.

No matter how you choose to use Calus Mini-Tool, picking up a God Roll to have on hand is a smart move. IT will be even easier to get a God Roll of this SMG since it is able to be crafted. Once you have the pattern unlocked you can put whatever perks you want onto it and even slip on some of the upgraded perks.
