The Title SMG in Destiny 2

Destiny 2: How to get the New Legendary SMG The Title

Recommended Videos

Every event in Destiny 2 seems to bring with it a new gun and this year’s Guardian Games aims to stick to this tradition. This year Destiny 2 has added a new legendary SMG called The Title to the game. This new SMG shares many similarities to The Cold Front which is an SMG that is available during the Dawning, but it does seem to have a slight advantage over The Cold Front overall with a slightly larger magazine and lower recoil.  However, like many other weapons in Destiny 2, you will need to put in a little bit of work to get this SMG. Let’s go over how you can get your own The Title and farm it for the best rolls.

How to Get The Title and Farm it

There are two ways to get The Title in Destiny 2 and you can’t access one without going through the other. The way you will get your first The Title is by completing the tutorial quest for the Guardian Games event. This is not a long quest, it just teaches you the basics of the event and what you need to do throughout it. Once you finish the quest, Eva will give you a copy of The Title. This version is not the best roll of the gun that is out there, so you will want to farm up several copies until you get the rolls you want.

In order to farm additional rolls of The Title, you will need to participate in Destiny 2’s Guardian Games. By turning in medals to the podium you will get random items which includes The Title. You can get bronze and silver medals by completing activities. You get gold and platinum medals by finishing contender cards that you buy from Eva for Laurels. You get Laurels by wearing the class item given to you at the beginning of the Guardian Games.

You can hold up to 500 Laurels at a time and five of each medal. You’ll find yourself filling up with bronze and silver medals easily, which is good because these seem to reward The Title quite often when you turn them in.
