Fallout 4 is full of resources that players need to get in order to progress. From building up your settlements to crafting mods for your weapons, you will need plenty of each resource in order to do it all. One resource that every player has trouble with at some point or another is adhesive. Let’s go over the best ways to get Adhesive in Fallout 4.
How to Get Unlimited Adhesive in Fallout 4
There are a few ways to easily get adhesive in Fallout 4, but the best way is by growing food. You see, you can create Vegetable Starch using the right ingredients, which then breaks down into five units of adhesive. Although If you’re wondering where to find food and how to farm it, check out our other guide which should help.
To make Vegetable Starch you need 3 corn, 3 muttfruit, 3 tatos, and 1 purified water. The first three ingredients can be grown at your settlements. Just set up some nice farms and swing by every once in a while to harvest your crop. Purified water can be made using a water purifier, which you can place in any water source at your settlements.
Once you’ve got all of the ingredients, head to the cooking station and mix them all together to produce the Vegetable Starch. You can then transfer it to the Workshop station or break it down yourself to receive the five adhesive units.
Another way to easily get some adhesive in Fallout 4 is by hitting up your local vendors. If you have too many caps but not enough components then most vendors can fix both those issues. Buying a shipment of adhesive will only net you 25 adhesive for each shipment you buy, but this should be enough for your needs until the vendor restocks.
The final method for easily getting adhesive is by using the scavenging bench building. If you assign a settler to the building they will go and gather scrap and other items that can be scrapped which includes adhesive. This won’t be an instant method but is nice to set up for while you go out traveling. It will also net you other materials that you might be short on at the moment, like aluminum.
Fallout 4 is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
