Final Fantasy 15 Chocobo Pears

Final Fantasy 15 Guide: Where To Find Every Color-Changing Chocobo Pear

Recommended Videos

While the color that most associate with Chocobos is yellow, Final Fantasy 15 gives you plenty of options that allow you to make your Chocobo whatever color you want. Some of these need to be unlocked with Chocobo Pears, which require hunting around for them during races in order to acquire them. The following will help you track down every one that the game has to offer.

Cieldalaes Pear

The Cieldaleas Pear can be found in the Prompto and Full Field races. All you have to do is turn around at the beginning instead of going forward, and you will see the pear near a fenced tree to the left.

Doman Pear

The Doman Pear can be found in the Prompto and Ignis races, but the condition here is that it must be raining in order for it to appear. Turn around again and head in the opposite direction, and go through an opening before the stone fence to go off-roading. Use the compass and keep heading north east, keeping an eye out for boulders on the right. The pear will be found between these boulders.

Han Pear

The Han Pear can be found in the Prompto and Ignis races, but the condition here again is that it must be raining in order for it to appear. Do what you did when heading in the direction for the Doman Pear, but this time look for a patch of trees. The pear will be on the ground near the first tree before entering the area.

Mamook Pear

The Mamook Pear can be found during the Chocobo Hoops: Grange Gallop race, though you need to make sure that it is raining. When the race starts, immediately turn left before moving. Hop the stone fence and follow the rocks until you reach a dead end. Turn left and you will find the pear waiting for you.

O’Ghomoro Pear

The O’Ghomoro Pear can be found in the Prompto, Ignis and Full Field races, with the condition being that it needs to be nighttime between the hours of 8:30 PM and 4:00 AM. Turn around and head in the opposite direction, and keep heading that way until you reach the Chocobo Races stand. Continue following the road and you will find another Chocobo Races sign, though this one will have the pear sitting in front of it.

Val Pear

The Val Pear can be found in the Rocky Road and Chocobo Hoops: Grange Gallop races, with the condition again being that it needs to be nighttime between the hours of 8:30 PM and 4:00 AM. A rock formation to the right of the first hoop can be spotted, and you need to make your way to the top of it. The pear will be waiting for you near the edge.

Xelphatol Pear

The Xelphatol Pear can be found in the Gladiolus and Iris races. Head forward and you will eventually see a wooden shack on the left, which is your cue to jump through the fence. There will be an opening in the next fence that you must go through, and the pear will be hidden in the grass.

You’ll have ways besides finding these pears that will allow you to change your Chocobo’s color, but if you want to have all the options then getting every last pear is essential.
