A new Fortnite Season 9 Fortbyte has been added to the map with the release of Fortbyte #62. This one has you heading to the Abandoned Mansion, but you’re going to need to be wearning a certain skin to unlock it. In this guide we’ll explain where to find the Abandoned Mansion and how to get the Stratus skin so you can get Fortbyte #62.
First things first, you’ll need to get the Stratus skin. This is unlocked through completing tiers in the Battle Pass. You’ll need to have progressed up to level 71 to unlock this skin as a reward. Once you’ve got the skin you can then equip it in your Locker and then it’s on to the Abandoned Mansion.
The Abandoned Mansion is on the coast between Lonely Lodge and the Race track
The Abandoned Mansion is located on the far east side of the map, on the coastline just above the desert area and southeast of Lonely Lodge. Once you’re in the mansion, you’ll find Fortbyte #62 located on the bottom floor near some computers. As you can see in the image above, if you do not have the Stratus skin you will not be able to collect the Fortbyte.
During Season 9 of Fornite there will be 100 Fortbytes added to the game. Collecting them all reveals a mysterious picture, but it also allows you to unlock the Singularity Skin.
