Fortnite – How to Get the Exclusive Glow Skin

Recommended Videos

Samsung has been providing Fortnite players with exclusive cosmetic items since the game hit mobile phones last year, and the Glow skin is the latest in the line of free Samsung gear. The skin comes with an emote called Levitate, too. You can only obtain the skin and emote if you have a relatively new Samsung Galaxy device.

How Do I Get the Glow Skin?

To get the Glow skin in Fortnite, you’ll have to download the game from the Galaxy Store, not the Google Play Store. Then, sign in with your existing Epic Games account or create a new one. The skin should appear in the store under the limited time offers section. To redeem the skin, make sure your store is set to Samsung in your device’s settings. You can check in Settings > Account > Content > Android Store Selection. After doing so, tap on the Glow skin and try to purchase it like any other skin.

A notice may pop up asking you to input your credit card information. Go ahead and do so, you won’t be charged because the skin is free thanks to the promotion. Once you’ve entered your information, you’re free to either claim the skin and emote for yourself or gift it to a friend. If you claim them for yourself, you can find them in your locker like any other cosmetics.

What Devices Are Eligible?

The following Samsung Galaxy devices are eligible to get the Fortnite Glow skin and Levitate emote for free:

  • Note 10/ Note 10+/ Note 10 5G
  • S10/ S10+/ S10 5G/S10e
  • Note 9
  • S9/ S9+
  • Note 8
  • S8/ S8+/ S8 Active
  • S7/ S7 Edge/ S7 Active
  • Tab S6
  • Tab S4
  • Tab S3/ Tab S3 Wi-Fi
  • A9
  • A70
  • A80
  • A90

If you have an eligible device and want to get the Glow Skin and Levitate emote for yourself, then act quickly. The promotion is only available until December 31. If you miss the deadline, then you might not be entirely out of luck. Considering there have been multiple exclusive Samsung skins released before the Glow skin, there’s a good chance that more free cosmetic items will follow once the current promotional period ends.
