The first week of Season 9 has begun in Fortnite Battle Royale. With it comes a brand new bundle of challenges for Battlepass owners. This includes the brand new addition of a new type of collectible called the Fortbyte. There are 11 total challenges for Season 9 in Fortnite with 10 to be completed and then an 11th challenge being the one is completing all challenges.
Here’s what you’ll need to do in Season 9 to complete every challenge.
- Collect 90 Fortbytes
- Stage 1 of 2 – Complete all challenges from any week
- Complete all challenges from any 2 different weeks
- Stage 1 of 2 – Complete all challenges from any 3 different weeks
- Complete all challenges from any 4 different weeks
- Stage 1 of 2 – Complete all challenges from any 5 different weeks
- Complete all challenges from any 6 different weeks
- Stage 1 of 2 – Complete all challenges from any 7 different weeks
- Complete all challenges from any 8 different weeks
- Stage 1 of 2 – Complete all challenges from any 9 different weeks
- Complete all challenges from all 10 weeks
As you can see, to complete all of the challenges in Fortnite Season 9 you’re going to need to complete all the challenges AND collect the mysterious new Fortbyte collectibles that will be introduced throughout the Season.
As usual you will need to be completing the weekly challenges as they come. Each week new challenges will appear in the Battle Pass for you to unlock. Below you’ll find all of the Season 9 Fortnite Battle Pass Challenges with more added as they are released.
Fortnite Season 9 Week 1 Battle Pass Challenges
- Pickup a Legendary Item in different matches (5) – 5 Battle Stars
- Search chests at Lucky Landing or Loot Lake (7) – 5 Battle Stars
- Scoped Weapon Eliminations (3) – 10 Battle Stars
- Stage 1 of 3 – Deal damage to opponents from at least 2 stories above (300) – 3 Battle Stars
- Stage 2 of 3 – Deal damage to opponents from at least 4 stories above (200) – 3 Battle Stars
- Stage 3 of 3 – Deal damage to opponents from at least 6 stories above (100) – 3 Battle Stars
Fortnite Season 9 Week 1 Free Challenges
- Ride the Slipstream around Tilted Towers
- Ride the Slipstream around Mega Mall
- Visit all Sky Platforms
- Deal damage to an opponent within 10s after using a Shadow Bomb
Fortnite Season 9 Week 2 Battle Pass Challenges
- Deal damage with Pistols to opponents (500)
- Visit an oversized Phone, a big Piano, and a giant Dancing Fish trophy
- Search a Chest in different Named Locations in a single match
- Eliminate an opponent from at least 100m away
Fortnite Season 9 Week 2 Free Challenges
- Launch off of Air Vents in different matches
- 5 Stages of Landing at different zones
- Eliminate opponents in Sunny Steps or Shifty Shafts
Fortnite Season 9 Week 3 Battle Pass Challenges
- Visit Happy Hamlet and Shifty Shafts in a Single Match
- Stage 2 – Visit Sunny Steps and Dusty Divot in a single match
- Stage 3 – Visit Haunted Hills and Salty Springs in a single match
- Throw the Flying Disc Toy and catch it before it lands
- Explosive Weapon Eliminations (3)
- Deal damage with different weapons in a single match
Fortnite Season 9 Week 3 Free Challenges
- Land a trick with a Driftboard
- Stage 2 – Gets 3s of airtime in a Quadcrasher
- Stage 3 – Destroy opponent structures with a vehicle
- Search chests at Lonely Lodge or Polar Peak
- Deal damage to an opponent within 10s after using a Slipstream

- Destroy a Loot Carrier in (3) Different Matches
- Stage 1 – Land at Polar Peak
