Fortnite has been having all kinds of fun with its Season 8, Chapter 2 events and it is only continuing with the addition of Armored Walls to the game. As the season has progressed, items have been added and removed and the most recent addition will allow players to create defenses that are even more immune to damage than previously. Having one of these in your arsenal can be the difference between winning and losing a match as that grenade won’t take down your fortification anymore. That is, once they find them at least. Here’s where to find Armored Walls in Fortnite.

Where to Find Armored Walls in Fortnite

The Armored Wall itself is a pretty interesting item in the long list that Fortnite has to offer. For one, it doesn’t actually take up any space in your inventory like weapons and healing items do. Instead, it’s treated as a piece of building material similar to the jump pad for example.  When acquired, Armored Walls can withstand tons of damage from players to keep their structures from being destroyed and that includes point black attacks from an RPG. If you get your hands on one of these, prepare for the match to swing in your favor. They are not invincible though, so make sure you take the time to kill your opponents while they wail away on your insanely fortified base.

The question of where to find Armored Walls though is not as simple as “just go here and you’ll find it.” Epic made things a bit trickier on that end. Armored Walls actually don’t have a particular method to finding them. In order to find them, you need to open normal chests and supply drops. That being said, it is not completely random and the Armored Walls tend to drop more often at the end of matches when the player numbers have begun to dwindle.

When the Armored Walls do finally drop, they will be shown on your map via a blue crate icon. Once you see it, other players will too and that means it’s generally going to be a race to it between a bunch of players. Because of that, it might be wiser to watch the rush from afar and then pick off the scraps and grab the Armored Walls from them that way rather than be the player being hunted for grabbing it first.

Fortnite Season 8, Chapter 2 is ongoing, so expect to see more interesting items and events popping up in the near future as there have already been some awesome additions to the game so far.

Fortnite is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, IOS, and Android.
