According to HoYoverse, the maintenance period for Genshin Impac’ts version 2.7 will begin at 06:00 (UTC+8) on May 31st and is expected to last for a total of 5 hours. As usual, players will be offered compensation for each hour the game is offline, which will add up to a total of 300 Primogems, among other goodies.

Once the game is back online, players will be able to not only begin pulling for its new 5-star Hydro Archer Yelan, as well as for 5-Star Anemo Polearm user Xiao, but they will also be able to take part in the version’s main event, Perilous Trial, set to run from the start of the version to June 20th, 2022. Both a new Archon quest and Yelan’s Story Quest ”Umbrabilis Orchis Chapter” will also be available once the version debuts.

It’s important to point out that to take part in the new event players must have first reached Adventurer Rank 28 and need to have completed both the game’s first chapter as well as the world Quest ”Wherefore Did the Spiritstone Descend”. HoYoverse also revealed that to get the full experience out of the event, players are advised to complete the story quests of both Arataki Itto and the Raiden Shogun.

Genshin Impact is currently available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices – Android, and iOS.
