Genshin Impact Moonlight Seeker Locations: How to Get 100% and Unlock Luxurious Sea-Lord

Recommended Videos

The Moonlight Merriment event is currently underway in Genshin Impact, and the Moonlight Seeker quest tasks players with finding Moonchase Charms and Mystmoon Chests. By reaching 100% collection progress, players can unlock a special new weapon called the Luxurious Sea-Lord, which is just a giant fish claymore. Currently, only the Path of Stalwart Stone part of the quest is available, but more will be added as the event continues. Here’s how to get 100% collection progress in the Moonlight Seeker Genshin Impact event.

How to Start Moonlight Seeker in Genshin Impact

In order to start the Moonlight Seeker event, you have to meet certain criteria. Players must be at least Adventure Rank 28 and have completed the quests “Chapter 1: Act 3 – A New Star Approaches” and “Trulla Chapter: Act 1 – Monstadt Gastronomy Trip.” If you’re a high enough rank and have completed those quests, then you will find the Moonlight Merriment event in the Events menu.

In order to reach 100% collection progress, you have to find all of the Moonchase charms and Mystmoon Chests. These items are all found in Minlin, the western part of Liyue. This is the location between Mt. Hulao and Qinqun Peak. You can speak to Linyang in Liyue Harbor each day for hints about where to find them, or you can just check the map below for all of their locations.

There is a total of 40 Mystmoon Chests to find in the Path of Stalwart Stone, and there are 30 Moonchase Charms to find on top of that. Many players are going to find themselves at 99% or another percentage that’s close to completion, so make sure you take your time and thoroughly comb through the region. You don’t want to end up missing one chest and not know where to look.

How to Get Luxurious Sea-Lord in Genshin Impact

Luxurious Sea-Lord is the main reward for the event, and you can obtain it by finding all of the Moonchase Charms and Mystmoon Chests during the Moonlight Seeker event. It’s a four-star claymore with the following stats:

  • Base ATK: 41
  • ATK: 12%
  • Oceanic Victory: Increases Elemental Burst DMG by 12%. When Elemental Burst hits opponents, there is a 100% chance of summoning a titanic tuna that charges and deals 100% ATK as AoE DMG. This effect can occur once every 15 seconds.

In order to level up the Luxurious Sea-Lord claymore, you’ll need a refinement material called Emperor’s Balsam. This material is unlocked by completing quests from the Trail of Delicacies part of the Moonlight Merriment event. You’ll have to complete all 6 of the currently available cooking challenges to get it.

Thankfully, the Luxurious Sea-Lord’s ascension materials are fairly easy to obtain as well. You’ll need to find Grains of Aerosiderite, Fragile Bone Shards, and Slime Condensate in order to ascend this weapon.

Genshin Impact is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices.
