Genshin Impact‘s version 2.6 is coming to an end, as the game’s version 2.7 finally received its release date, but that does not mean that the hype surrounding the still distant version 2;8 is gone, as leaks regarding the game’s next 4-star Anemo character Shikanoin Heizou continue to surface. But will Heizou be a support or a DPS? To answer that and to make sure that you are ready for his release on version 2.8, set to debut in July/August, here’s both a comprehensive look at his kit as well as everything you need to know regarding his optimal role in a composition.
Shikanoin Heizou’s Kit
According to the leaks regarding Genshin Impact’s upcoming Anemo 4-star, present on Project Amber, Heziou will be a character whose focus will lie on dealing high amounts of on-field Anemo damage, thanks to both his normal/charged attacks, as well as his Elemental Skill, Heartstopper Strike, which will allow him to perform a high damaging charged punch. His Elemental Skill will also feature a Descension mechanic, focused on increasing his subsequent Heartstopper Strikes.
His Elemental Burst, Windmuster Kick, will also deal high Anemo damage, as it will allow him to jump into the air while performing his signature kick, which will also send a damaging gust of wind forward. The kick will not only deal elemental damage but will also cause an elemental explosion if it hits any enemies affected by either Pyro, Cryo, Electro, or Hydro. You can check out all of Heizou’s normal attacks, as well as his Elemental Skill and Burst in action on the gameplay below, revealed by known leaker Waffel, and posted on Reddit.

Genshin Impact: Will Heizou be a Support or a DPS?
Taking into account everything stated above, as well as the many other leaks regarding the character, is safe to assume that Heizou will be a DPS/Sub-DPS focused on enabling and generating reactions, as well as dealing high amounts of Elemental damage. He will also be able to, just like all the other Anemo characters in the game, buff the party’s elemental damage if equipped with a 4-piece Viridescent Venerer set.
Genshin Impact is currently available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices – Android, and iOS.
