In Ghost Recon Breakpoint you can use a canteen to collect water that you can drink when you become exhausted. Drinking water will also reduce fatigue. Your water canteen has unlimited uses, but you do have to keep filling the Canteen when you find water.
To refill the canteen in Breakpoint, all you need to do is go to water and follow the prompt you see for your platform. This will be X on Xbox or Square on PS4. Once you hold the button you will an animation where your character refills the canteen. If you canteen is full you will not see the prompt to fill your canteen. You DO NOT have to have the canteen equipped to fill it.
How to Use the Canteen
You can use the canteen by pressing and holding the RB/R1 button to open your inventory wheel. Select the canteen and you can then use it when necessary. You will need to be exhausted to use the canteen or be refilling your stamina gauge to use it.
