The New Gotham Knights ‘Court of Owls’ Story Trailer

The latest trailer for Gotham Knights showcased Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin all preparing for the events that will unfold within the game. Seeking to uncover the secrets of Gotham city’s past, the Court of Owls is always omnipresently waiting in the shadows and said to always be listening. A cult-like faction can be seen throughout the trailer trying to gain the upper hand over the team of heroes/vigilantes as they push forwards through the cities undoubtedly dark secret past.

Along with the main story details, there was new footage shown of locations to be seen within the city with a lot of apparent underground references. The gameplay itself has been revealed more clearly in another trailer which all looked exquisite but in this flashy trailer, we get the main lore of the game along with witnessing some of the locales with a further cinematic twist. The animations and textures look extremely nicely designed with state of the art lighting, VFX, and material design interweaved throughout.

Gotham Knights Co-op functionality

The gameplay of Gotham Knights will feel similar in fashion to the Batman Arkham games, the tried and gorgeous formula for Rocksteady Games that leaves an excellent mark on the fans of the series around the globe. This time around however players will not be limited to playing through the main story segments alone. You will actually be able to play with another person; with your chosen partner.

Gotham Knights does support two-player co-op and this is also held within a ‘drop-in’ format which will allow you to play with your partner while fighting through the malevolent Court of Owl faction or even villains of the DC universe.

There is a lot to look forward to in Gotham Knights.
