GTA Online: How to Start Los Santos Tuners Update

Recommended Videos

The Los Santos Tuners update is finally here in GTA Online, and you can start the new content by visiting an all-new location on the map. Los Santos has seen its fair share of expansions over the years, but the Los Santos Tuners update focuses on an underutilized portion of the map that most players don’t pay any mind to. It’s not in the fancy nightclub districts or up north with the questionable businesses in Blaine County, but instead it’s located in the industrial area of the city. Here’s how to start the Los Santos Tuners update in GTA Online.

How to Start Los Santos Tuners in GTA Online

To start the Los Santos Tuners update in GTA Online, all you have to do is visit the new LS Car Meet social space. You can find this new location in Cypress Flats, which is located in the southeastern portion of Los Santos just above the airport. It’s marked with a fancy “LS” icon on the map. You should also receive a text message on your in-game phone from the Los Santos Car Meet inviting you to check out the new building.

Once you arrive at the building, just drive into the blue marker on the ground to enter the LS Car Meet. A short cutscene will play introducing you to the people running Los Santos’ underground car scene and then you’ll be set loose in the new social space. Here, you can show off your cars to other players without being griefed by other players. There are also new activities to undertake ranging from races to robberies, and even more benefits can be unlocked by purchasing an LS Car Meet membership for GTA$50,000.

Without a membership, all you can really do is hang out with other players and show off your cars. Car meets are incredibly popular in GTA Online, and now Rockstar has provided a safe space to hold them. If you want to do the new content like the Test Ride Challenges and Races, then you’ll need to purchase the membership. If you want to check out the new Contract missions, you’ll have to buy an Auto Shop from Maze Bank Foreclosures. The properties aren’t cheap, but the new missions are like mini heists and are a lot of fun. Plus, they pay pretty well.

Grand Theft Auto V is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
