Hot Wheels Unleashed: How to get the Bad to the Blade 2017 Car

Recommended Videos

Hot Wheels Unleashed has over 60 cars to collect. Enthusiasts and people riding on nostalgia will want to get their hands on as many as possible. Some range from licensed cars like Audi, Ford, Fiat, Koenigsegg, and more. Some range from more wacky rides like bumper cars, dinosaur cars, and even things like school buses and dump trucks. There are also race car variants like LeMans 24 hour cars and even Indy cars. It’s safe to say, this game has all sorts of rides to appeal to all players.

Of course, we all just want shiny new rides to play around in what feels like an endless set of courses spanning from all sorts of indoor locales for Hot Wheels tracks to be created in. Luckily, you can get one of the faster cars of the game early on by following this guide.

When you get to the middle rightmost region in the City Rumble Campaign, you’ll come across an intersection of various events to take on. This starts at the License Revoked quick race event. Upon completing that, take the bottom path, completing the Pedal To The Metal! event and Fearsome Rivals time attack event.

You’ll then see a cache that will reward you with 1 Blind Box and the Bad to the Blade vehicle. This is a Rare vehicle that heavily excels in every stat except braking power. This might be one of the easier vehicles to obtain early on in the game that can carry you throughout the campaign. It’s even one of the more aesthetically pleasing cars of the expansive roster in Hot Wheels Unleashed.

Alternatively, you can test your luck by snagging one via Blind Box or if it appears in the shop at some point in its rotations. Though chances are low, that is a way of getting it if you decide to skip out on the campaign.

The screenshot you see here is the upgraded Legendary variant of it. If you dish out 500 Gears, its speed stat will become maxed out. It’ll also increase braking power by 2. Though, you are going to sacrifice two reserves of boost in doing so.

Hot Wheels Unleashed is out now for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series S/X, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Stay tuned for more guides and articles regarding the game, including a review. You can check more of that out by clicking here.
