How to Catch Eevee in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Since the release of Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee, there’s no denying that this sweet little fox-like Pokemon has become just as popular as Pikachu over the years, so it’s no surprise that Eevee is available within Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. While the new generation of Pokemon doesn’t offer a new evolution for the species, there is enough variation in its current evolutions to make a decently strong party from a few of your favorites. But of course, you’ll need to catch a few Eevee before starting the process. Unfortunately, despite its popularity, Eevee isn’t a particularly common or easy Pokemon to catch, so read on to discover the best locations to head toward if you want to get one.

Where to Find Eevee in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Like its partner Pikachu, Eevee is considered a rare spawn within the Paldean Region, but that doesn’t stop it from having ample spawn opportunities in various locations across the map. If you’re keen to locate an Eevee during your adventure, there are two central spawn locations where you may find a few. The first, Area Two of the South Province, is shared with Pikachu. If you spend enough time in this location, there’s a high chance you will be able to catch both poster Pokemon simultaneously to save running around the entire map. Secondly, Eevee spawns in Area Three of the West Province and finally around the Pokemon League.

Just because Eevee is considered a rare spawn doesn’t mean that the species will be impossible to find during your playthrough. Due to how expansive the new environment and region is, you will spend a lot of time exploring each province and area to discover which Pokemon it has on offer, so more than likely, you’ll end up finding an Eevee without even realizing it. Just be sure to catch as many as possible to access all the evolutions and complete your Pokedex, to achieve the coveted Shiny Charm.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available on Nintendo Switch.
