How to Get Event Palkia/Dialga in Pokémon (Ultra) Sun/(Ultra) Moon

For those of you who may have forgotten already, The Pokémon Company announced last month that they will be distributing a ton of Legendary Pokémon throughout 2018, with new Legendaries becoming available each month. This month, Generation IV Legendaries Palkia and Dialga are available from today (February 2) through February 28. Normally, Palkia is exclusive to Ultra Moon while Dialga is exclusive to Ultra Sun, but for this event, Sun or Ultra Sun players can get Palkia and Moon or Ultra Moon players can get Dialga.

To gain access to this event, you will first need to go to a participating GameStop and receive a special promo code for the event. Once you have your code, follow these steps:

Start up your Sun, Ultra Sun, Moon or Ultra Moon game and select “Mystery Gift” from the main menu instead of “Continue.”
From the Mystery Gift menu, select “Receive Gift.”
Select “Get with Code/Password,” then, when asked about connecting to the internet, select “Yes” and then “Yes” again.
Enter the code you received from GameStop.
Your game will receive Dialga or Palkia.
Now “Continue” your game and talk to the delivery man in the orange and blue shirt, who you can find in any Pokémon Center. He will give you your Dialga or Palkia.

If you are playing Sun, the Palkia you receive will be on Level 60 and know the moves Aura Sphere, Aqua Tail, Spacial Rend and Hydro Pump. If you are playing Moon, the Dialga you receive will be on Level 60 and know the moves Aura Sphere, Iron Tail, Roar of Time and Flash Cannon. If you are playing Ultra Sun, the Palkia you receive will be on Level 100 and know the moves Spacial Rend, Aura Sphere, Draco Meteor and Hydro Pump, as well as holding a Gold Bottle Cap. If you are playing Ultra Moon, the Dialga you receive will be on Level 100 and know the moves Roar of Time, Aura Sphere, Draco Meteor and Flash Cannon, as well as holding a Gold Bottle Cap.

Also keep in mind that in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, if you already caught the Gen IV Legendary exclusive to your game (Dialga in Ultra Sun or Palkia in Ultra Moon) and then you get the other one through this event (Palkia in Ultra Sun or Dialga in Ultra Moon), Giratina will become available in your game.
