We’re getting near the halfway mark of the trading sequence in The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening and having to visit plenty of new areas to continue it. The last item we acquired was the Honeycomb after trading away the Stick in a different kind of fashion than usual, as we found Tarin getting chased away by bees and the Honeycomb itself left behind. You’re going to be visited a whole new area to trade it away and this guide will detail what you need to do to continue the trade sequence in The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening.

After acquiring the Honeycomb, you need to head to the Animal Village, which you’ll find near the southeast corner of the map near the Yarna Desert. To reach this area, you will need to find out how to get there, which we broke down in another guide. While that one is in more detail, you need to go south and then east from the Kanalet Castle area and then take a hidden stairwell to a new part of Ukuku Prairie.

Once you arrive in this eastern section of Ukuku Prairie, head south and you will find yourself in the Animal Village. Go to the most southeastern part of the village and enter the building to talk with Chef Bear, who just happens to be looking for a Honeycomb that you have. Give him the Honeycomb and you will receive the seventh item in the trade sequence, the Pineapple.
