Being a server in Life is Strange: True Colors can be tough, especially when you can’t quite remember what someone ordered. In Chapter 1 of the game, Alex has to wait tables at The Black Lantern bar, and she has to remember the order for Duckie and Diane. The game doesn’t tell you that you have to memorize the order yourself, so some players are caught off guard when Jed asks them what food to make. Here’s the correct order for Duckie and Diane in Life is Strange: True Colors.

What Did Duckie and Diane Order in Life is Strange: True Colors?

Duckie and Diane can be found sitting at a table in the middle of The Black Lantern. Speak to Duckie and Diane and they’ll give you their orders after a brief conversation. Duckie wants a cheeseburger with mushrooms, while Diane wants the pie special with fries. Just go tell Jed what they want and he’ll get started on the order. To recap, here’s the right order for Duckie and Diane:

  • Cheeseburger with Mushrooms
  • Pie Special with Fries

If you give Jed the right order, then he’ll be impressed with your performance as a server. If you mess it up, Jed will either be unimpressed with your performance or find out that Alex was never a server in the first place if you chose to go along with Gabe’s lie earlier in the chapter.

This will show up in the post-chapter summary at the end of Chapter 1, so you’ll know how you did eventually. Don’t worry, though, this won’t have any huge effects on the story. Chapter 1 does have a few important decisions though, so don’t rush through it as fast as you can.

Life is Strange: True Colors is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. A Nintendo Switch version of the game is coming later this year.
