Update 1.27 has arrived for LittleBigPlanet 3, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.
The online servers for LittleBigPlanet 3 had been on downtime for a very long time, but now it looks like the game is back up with a new update. If you own the PS4 version of the game, the update number is version 1.27.
While the PS4 version of the game remains online, sadly this means the servers for previous games in the franchise are going away for good. The servers for LittleBigPlanet, LittleBigPlanet 2 and LittleBigPlanet 3 on PS3 have been shutdown. Even LittleBigPlanet on PS Vita has no more servers up too.
You can read the full announcement about the patch and the servers below from the official Twitter page.
LittleBigPlanet 3 Update 1.27 Patch Notes
“First we would like to apologise for the extended downtime of the LittleBigPlanet server and want to thank you all for your patience whilst we worked on this issue.
The good news is that we have just launched Game Update 1.27 and brought the LittleBigPlanet server (and 10,000,000+ Community Levels) back online for PS4 users.
Unfortunately, we need to permanently shut down our online servers for LittleBigPlanet, LittleBigPlanet 2 and LittleBigPlanet 3 (PS3) and LittleBigPlanet PS Vita.
We have no doubt that this news will come as a big disappointment to a lot of you, ultimately this is the best way to protect the LittleBigPlanet community and to help ensure that our online environment remains safe.
Thank you for being a wonderful community and for your continued love and support of all things Sackboy”
If there are any other patch notes revealed, we’ll be sure to update this post. LittleBigPlanet 3 is out now for the PS4 console.
