Madden 20 How to Taunt and Showboat

Rub it in a little bit more with taunts in Madden 20.

by William Schwartz

In Madden 20 you can still taunt or showboat against your opponents on your way to the endzone.  There’s really no upside to taunting your opponents in Madden 20 unless you really get some gratification from rubbing your big play in a little harder.  However, if you get hit while taunting you just might fumble the football so use this move carefully and only when there are absolutely no other players around.

To taunt in Madden 20 you need to hold the LT + RT buttons and hold A on Xbox One.  For PlayStation 4 the controls are L2 + R2 and X.  Once you press the buttons in you will see the player begin to do a taunting move as they continue to move towards the goal.  The taunts can be random animations from a player holding the ball out in front of them to putting it between their legs while hopping.

Doing the taunts definitely slows you down, so if someone is in pursuit make sure they have no chance of catching you when using a taunt.
