Evolution Cards are a new type of card that you can earn in NBA 2K20. These cards can be upgraded by completing statistical milestones that are unique to each card. As the card increases in level, the attributes and badges increase on the card.
How to evolve cards in 2k20
Things that you can do in evolving cards include unlocking secondary positions for the player.
To evolve an evolution card you need to head into the My Team Tab in the My Team mode. In the center of the screen you will find a Card Evolution menu item. Click this item, and you will be brought to a page with all of the evolution cards that you own.
In the middle of the screen you will find the requirements that you need to meet to make an evolution. Looking to the stats on the right, you will see how much the card will improve upon doing the evolution.
Once you evolve the card you will see the overall rating of the card improve, as well as upgrades to different stats as you increase the level. You will also get new Evolution requirements to be met before you can evolve again.
