NBA 2K22 Agency Choice: Palmer Athletics Agency or Berry & Associates?

Recommended Videos

What agency should you sign with in NBA 2K22 MyCareer? Early in MyCareer, you’ll start a quest called The Come Up: Draft Day. There, you’ll be given the choice between two agencies: Palmer Athletic Agency or Berry and Associates. They each bring different things to the table, and you can only choose one of them. Picking an agency is one of the most important early decisions for your basketball career, so it’s important to consider the benefits of each option. Here are the differences between the Palmer Athletic Agency and Berry and Associates in NBA 2K22.

Which Agency Should You Choose in NBA 2K22?

Palmer Athletic Agency is the more traditional of the two. Kristen and Diane are at the head of this agency, and they explain in your initial meeting that they can take care of basically everything for you. With this agency, all you have to worry about is your performance on the court. They claim to be experts in the world of elite professional athletes and have plenty of experience dealing with the corporate management side of things.

The second choice is Berry and Associates. This agency deals with other things outside of professional athletes, namely music and entertainment. They promise that you can have a successful career without ever setting foot on an NBA court, which is a strange proposition for an aspiring pro basketball player. Still, they claim that you have a large monetizable fanbase that could easily bring in a ton of money through brand deals and sponsorships.

The choice really comes down to personal preference. You’ll still be able to take brand deals and sponsorships and make a good amount of money with either agency. The only difference is if you want to adhere to the traditional corporate structure with PAA or try something outside of the box with Berry and Associates. At PAA, your agents will handle all of the off-the-court business for you so you can just worry about playing basketball. At Berry and Associates, your agents want you to be involved in the decision-making process and focus on developing your individual brand.

NBA 2K22 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
